TracePen — High Quality Image to Vector Converter Online

Parameters

Color number — How many color regions to extract. Lower = simpler output, higher = more detail.

Noise filter — Reduces grain and JPEG artifacts before tracing. Set to 0 for flat/cartoon images. Increase for photos.

Color blend — Merges nearby color regions. Higher = smoother, fewer fragments. Use 0 for sharp logos and technical drawings.

Merge small area — Removes isolated regions smaller than the set size. Increase to clean up noisy output.

Corner smooth — Controls corner rounding. 0% = sharp corners, 100% = fully rounded curves.

SketchUp users

  1. Export your image as DXF Faces from TracePen
  2. In SketchUp, go to File > Import
  3. Select the DXF file
  4. Important: Before clicking Import, click Options and enable Merge Coplanar Faces
  5. Click Import

Without Merge Coplanar Faces, each triangle will appear as a separate face, making the model harder to work with.
